The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica offers several options for booking blocks of rooms at our hotel.
Special Event & Wedding Room Block Options
The Georgian Hotel offers special rates to special event and wedding parties, pending availability. Should there be a promotional offer or package created during the time of the guest stay, we will honor the best available rate. Rates range from $230 - $435 + tax.
At The Georgian Hotel, we have two options for special event and wedding room block options:
Option One: Contracted Room Block - The
bride and groom enter into a signed agreement with the hotel whereby
the hotel holds a certain number of rooms that the bride and groom
guarantee they will fill. The advantage to the bride and groom
is that rooms are held for their party. The disadvantage to the
bride and groom is that they will be responsible for providing a rooming
list 30 days prior to arrival and they will guarantee the rooms to
their credit card. Also, an attrition clause is established whereby
80% of rooms will be paid for regardless if the rooms are used or not.

Option Two: Referral System - We
do not recommend blocking rooms for weddings, instead we suggest a
referral system. The bride and grooms’ names are loaded into
our system and their guests can call to book or email to book. We guarantee
the rates up until 30 days prior to arrival, based on availability. The
advantage to this system is the bride and groom are not held responsible
financially or otherwise. The disadvantage is the rooms are not
being held for the party. In general, our hotel fills up 2 weeks
before arrival, so if guests book 30 days in advance, we will more
than likely have rooms.
